Chancellor, Alabama Ghost Tales

The ghost of a young-looking
  female dressed as a maid has been made out on several instances bass fishing from the shore of Ed Averett Pond Number 2 after midnight. Folks who have witnessed this phantom assert this phantom loves scaring unwise folks who come trying to locate phantoms in Chancellor.

The spirit of a young cowboy can every so often be spotted carving an opening at Bobby Jones Lake Dam after midnight. Either way, it's a scary ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.

A creepy beast has often been observed burying a body by a large rock in Meadow Lawn Memorial Park at the stroke of midnight. A resident says that this ghost may be a renowned yesteryear dweller of Chancellor.
