Chatom, Alabama Ghost Tales


On the face of it Chatom, Alabama seems like a normal city, but when the darkness of nighttime begins; things get menacing. Spirits are so regular here; many folks who live here don’t even lose sleep about it any longer. Not everyone has faith in the stories the folks who live here tell, but the spirits of Chatom are out tonight trying to find a person to terrify.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The spirit of a gentleman hauling a blood-splattered sword has once in a while been witnessed posting a package at a Chatom post office. One thing is for guaranteed, it indisputably is a menacing ghost that should be left alone.

An armed forces uniform staggering about devoid of a body in it has supposedly been noticed on several instances screaming at the watcher to go away by Beaver Dam Creek.

The spirit of a civil war combatant was noticed by George Keen Dam after midnight staring at the water. The arrival of the observer startled the ghost who then disappeared.

The
 
    phantom of an awfully scorched female was seen struggling to conceal a cadaver in Bull Hall Swamp around midnight. The eye witness was frightened and ran off.

The ghost of a guy with a cross etched into his head showed up glugging down regular unleaded from a gas pump at a fuel station in Chatom. The ghost nodded to the onlooker.
