    a young female having on a bloody prom dress is every so often witnessed peeking through residence windows in Cherokee on a dark night. In any case, this is an antagonistic ghost that you do not want to run into before dawn.

The phantom of an eleven foot massive giant has allegedly been witnessed on one or two instances in Buzzard Roost Park
  in the early morning hours pulling a body over rocks. A lot of folks who live here claim this spirit is the spirit of a traveler that was killed while traveling through Cherokee some decades ago.

The ghost of a woman having half her head absent may now and then be perceived hurling boulders into the current at Browns Branch late at night. People here who have spotted this ghost claim this ghost likes startling unwise folks who are brave enough to interrupt the calm in Cherokee.

A character with a skeleton face wearing gloomy robes was observed staring in J.P. Coleman State Park near the ranger station. Scared by the eye witnesses the spirit withdrew into the dark.
