While the sun shines Coker, Alabama is like any other American city, but struggling ghosts of the past in this city don't appear to wish to die. Dark time is undeceased time in this town. Doubters don't believe in the local ghost tales, but seeing is believing and if you spend the night here in Coker, you might see a ghost.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of a man having satanic symbols cut into his back has every so often been observed swallowing paint quite near Lake Lurleen State Park. Some of the people who live here say this ghost is probably the stressed ghost of a resident who used to have a house here in Coker.

The spirit of a severely mangled hunter dragging a dead coyote is occasionally made out at Bryce Hospital Dam at night taking in the scenery. In any case, this ghost undoubtedly is terrifying; one that any reasonable person wouldn't wish to meet.

A lady with no head can every so often be spotted walking in the middle of a murky
 
    road outside Coker. It's been alleged that this particular spirit is the struggling spirit of an old Coker resident. No matter what, this is an antagonistic ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.

A gentleman devoid of a head was noticed trying to locate something in a row boat on Camp Tuscoba Lake. When the observer came into sight the ghost ran
  off.

The ghost of an aged prospector with a big mustache and a hook instead of his right hand was spotted in Blue Rock in the early morning hours before sunrise clutching a human headbone. The appearance of the viewer frightened the ghost who then vanished. If you talk to the locals, this phantom is that of a resident who had a home here in Coker in the past.

The ghost of an old woman hauling a pistol became visible at Big Creek around midnight tossing rocks into the stream. The onlooker got freaked out and escaped.

The ghost of a flight attendant was spotted late at night giving a lead excursion of Carson Bluff to a company of ghosts. The ghost acknowledged the presence of the observer.
