Locals here claim that this ghost is that of a local who had a home here in Delta some time ago. A woman carrying her head by her arm is from time to time made out by Abel Dam after midnight looking at the water. The ghost of a young-looking female sporting a blood-covered wedding dress is rumored to have been perceived on a few instances thinking on the water's edge of Abel Lake. A beheaded woman may every now and then be distinguished frightening people in Abel Gap in the early morning hours. A local woman alleges that this phantom takes pleasure in scaring foolhardy folks who have the nerve to upset the quiet in Delta. In any event, this ghost certainly is menacing; one that should be shunned.
