Elmore, Alabama Ghost Tales Around my house, I've seen several spirits. The most notable looks like that of an old Southern farmer or of a rural resident back in times of old. He's harmless, but he'll stare at you or walk near you which can be unsettling at times. I have seen him at least 3 times now. . A number of local residents argue these testimonies are lies, but there really are menacing things going on here in Elmore during the night time. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A beheaded lady has every so often been witnessed trying to find a shoe under a parked VW in an Elmore parking lot on a dark night. The ghost of an 8 feet tall huge person is now and then       witnessed in an Elmore area clothing store, staggering the aisles. A number of of the people here say this ghost likes terrifying foolish people who are brave enough to interrupt the tranquility in Elmore. The ghost of a lady having half her head gone is known to have been witnessed on frequent instances in Berry Swamp in the early morning hours   attempting to deposit a body. If you listen to the people who live here, this ghost may be the soul of a local resident who passed away here in Elmore before the present. In any case, it unquestionably is a menacing ghost that you don't want to run into in the early morning hours before sunrise. A female with a machete in her head may sometimes be spotted looking irritably at the eye witness up on Cobbs Hill. A wandering ghost has regularly been witnessed sitting at a table in an Elmore house going out of control. Whatever folks articulate, this is a nasty ghost that any reasonable person wouldn't want to bump into. The spirit of a young-looking Indian combatant is regularly distinguished scooping out a gap on the water's edge of Cobbs Lake. The ghost of a jet pilot can repeatedly be observed looking at the water by B D Greer Dam late at night. The menacing spirit of a Hun can be seen often in the middle of Callaway Creek swallowing blood from a jar. One thing is for sure, it's a terrifying ghost that should be stayed away from. A frightening skeleton has every so often been perceived by Big Bend devouring a cookie.
