Back about 4 years ago the area was overgrown with briars and trees. There was a narrow Trail that used to Lead to a pond I think it is the Spring that the town is named after. One Day I hiked down the Trail when all of a sudden the hair on my neck stood up. I had this awful feeling that someone was watchingme. Needless to     say more than once ithought isaw out of the corner of my eye a Young Man maybe 18 or so in a Blue uniform. It almost seemed as though he was afraid I had seen him! This had happened on more than tree occasions. I really don't know why but I get the impression that it May have been a lost Union soldier. One other note: my car has an alarm and more times than I can count it would go off for no reason late at night. Needless to say I don't go to the pond late at night!.
