The ghost of a female having words engraved into her cheek was spotted spending time in a derelict farmhouse in Locust Fork. The arrival of the onlooker frightened the ghost who then disappeared. A number of of the people who live here claim this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was murdered while passing through Locust Fork some time ago.
