When the viewer showed up the ghost escaped. Some of the folks who live here allege this ghost is that of a local resident who had a home here in Malcolm in the past. A partly see-through man dressed as the skipper of a craft was witnessed   down near the shore at The Cove reading a pamphlet. The ghost talked about avenging a slaying. According to the local residents, this ghost likes scaring folks who come trying to find ghosts in Malcolm.
