Custom Search Mount Hope, Alabama Ghost Sightings Mount Hope PAGE 1   2   3     It was a warm fall Day in 1954 when Henry Hill a traveling salesman found himself lost on an obscure county road outside of Mount Hope Alabama. As Henry rounded a sharp curve heading North into town his Ford gave out from heat and he stopped at a strange dip in the road which was on the first open straightaway coming from the wooded mountain. As Henry got out of his car and was about to decide that he needed to push his     car out of the road he didn't notice another car approaching at a high rate of speed from behind. Some speculate it was a drunk Driver that as he passed Henry swerved and hit him killing him instantly. Henry would have been Fine if he'd just had time to push his car out of the way. However that is what henry's spirit does today if anyone Parks in the dip in the road where his car once stopped.
