Mulga, Alabama Ghost Tales Me and some friends of mine went to the cemetery and took several pictures and recordings. It seemed to be an uneventful trip. We listened to the recordings a couple days later and there was a voice that keep repeating the name Caroline. The voice was a little girl................ Stories go back for many years that people have been hung in that tree. Suicide or by murder. But one night in the sixties while going to my cousins house in Docena we saw a car hit the tree at a very fast speed. My uncle went to look to see if anyone was hurt and found a person inside the car and he was dead. Did that person see something in the tree that might have cause his death? Or just a freak accident. But at the end I did find out that this person was just released from jail that morning to only find his end at THE OLD HANGING TREE. When we looked at Village Falls Cemetery, we noticed a glow from the oldest part of the grave yard. We went and investigated the unusual sittings.
