Children often report to us parents that a figure is seen looking out of the old Russell County Courthouse window at them. I live right in the heart of this town and have felt strange things and witnessed strange things. Nonetheless, it without a doubt is a terrifying ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate. The ghost of a train driver may sometimes be made out by Asbury Dam on a dark night looking at the water. Based on what the local residents declare, this ghost can be the spirit of a local resident who passed on here in Seale some decades ago. In any event, this phantom undoubtedly is terrifying; one that should be avoided. The ghost of a seriously mangled hunter hauling a dead coyote has frequently been seen in Asbury Park in the early morning hours before sunrise tossing rocks. A lady without a head is frequently noticed glancing at the view from the summit of Bouton Hill late in the night.
