We never saw the pirate again but my sister and another friend saw on several occasions eyes looking at them from outside, just the eye balls, even during the day. I can't imagine any significance in a pirate theme but I can only tell what I saw. Our older brother has stories about the house too but I won't tell them, maybe he will one day. The house was built in 1898 and is known as the Stewart-Holmes manor. We have lived in this house for about 5 years and since the 1st night of moving in we have experienced many strange happenings. The 1st night we moved in we had boxes filling the ''Grand Ballroom''. Around 1 AM, my husband and I were awoken by the sounds of heavy foot steps walking around the boxes.
