Custom Search Sipsey, Alabama Ghost Sightings Sipsey PAGE 1   2     Me and my friends went backpacking over spring break this year. (2009) We were in the Sipsey Wilderness campgrounds right next to the eye of the needle. Our last night there we witnessed what looked to be a man off in the distance. He had a small blue light and he would flash it at us. At first we thought it was another backpacker, but he disappeared. Almost instantly he reappeared right next to my tent in clear view and     shined his light again. I could not make a face out on him and I could not see his legs. We all ran at him and he disappeared again. The next day we met up with a local of Sipsey and he explained that there have been many sightings especially if you talk about religion or demons, ect... That is exactly what we were talking about. I honestly did not believe in ghosts until I took this trip.
