Tuckabatchi is an ancient Indian settlement that was located on the banks of the Tallapoosa river. Many odd occurrences have been reported from this area which is located near Tallassee Alabama. One recurrent story involves a large black dog that walks up on people parking at night in the area.
Two facts make this dog other worldly. One he is larger than a wolf though he has a wolfish appearance. He is tall enough to stand above the window of a standard
sedan. Second he may be seen gliding up to the car but his approach is absolutely soundless--even in the summer with the windows rolled down when the
dog is moving through dry brush.|
Legend says he is the remaining spirit guardian of the creek Indian tribe that was driven away from their ancestral home by white settlers.
