If you follow creel road to Smith road you will be on old plantation land. There is an Oak tree on this road that is at least 500 years old. One afternoon shortly after moving into the neighborhood my mother and I heard someone singing an old spiritual song. We clearly saw an older Black male walk past the kitchen window then the glass door panels. He     Bent down as if he were reaching for something and disappeared. We both went outside to see if we could see who was in the yard but no one was there. We were living in this House for six years and heard him singing on several occasions. It was my understanding that our House was built close to the site of an old barn the massive Oak being a landmark. On several occasion we heard children laughing and playing when no one was about. It was when our neighbor passed away that the activity began to pick up. We began to see a Black mass that would come from   (continued on the next page...)
