One night while driving thru the waterloo cemetery I saw a shadowy figure near the end of main street known as the turn around I couldn't tell much about it, but I took a pic and there was nothing but orbs in the picture. Submitted by Chevy
On the surface Waterloo, Alabama appears like your ordinary town, but there are ghosts in this town, and they show up in the moonlight hours. Some of the buried refuse to pass on in this municipality. Not everybody has faith in the testimonies the folks who live here tell, but the things that go on here in Waterloo during the dark hours will scare you.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
A military outfit striding around lacking a body in it is known to have been witnessed on a few instances guzzling water in Backbone Hollow very late at night.
The ghost of an awfully burned lady may be made out frequently at the stroke of midnight floating down Barton Branch.

has occasionally been witnessed hiding a cadaver by a big boulder in Brush Creek Park on a dark night. Regardless of what, this is a nasty ghost that any sound person wouldn't wish to run into.
The ghost of a gravely mangled huntsman pulling a dead deer is once in a while perceived on the pinnacle of Pettipoole Hill in the early morning hours before sunrise staring at the panorama. Loads of people who live here assert this phantom is the undeparted spirit of a former Waterloo local resident.
