Weaver, Alabama Ghost Tales

I have never saw any ghosts around Weaver before;but one morning I did hear something very strange. Weaver no longer has train tracks running through the tiny town like it used to. The tracks were torn up and pavement was laied down nearly ten years ago to form a walking trail streatching from Weaver past Piedmont. Well, one morning, around 6:00, my mother and I were coming home from my grandmother's house. While my mom was unlocking the front door, I heard a strange ratteling noise. Then, it struck me what the noise was. A train. Just as I opened my mouth to ask her if she heard it too, she turned and asked me if that was a train. We paused and listened. The previous tracks are not far from our house at all. In fact we could even here the rattle of the wheels on the tracks. The noise grew loader and louder then it began to grow fainter. And then nothing at all.

During the daylight hours Weaver, Alabama is a customary US municipality, but this municipality has chilling riddles veiled in the shadows. Chairs

travel around, talk coming from the dark. Some locals declare there are no spirits, but the things that go on here in Weaver during the night time will scare you.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A menacing being may every so often be observed in Askew Field very late at night burying
a corpse by a large rock. One thing's for certain, this spirit undoubtedly is terrifying; one that should be let alone.

The ghost of a steel-miner has regularly been observed bass fishing from the water's edge of Doss Lake after midnight. People here who have witnessed this phantom allege this phantom is the stressed soul of an old Weaver local person. Anyway, this is a hostile ghost that is rather not upset.

A lady with a semi translucent body has purportedly been made out on one or two instances watching the landscape from the apex of Baltzell Mountains at midnight. In any event, it's a terrifying ghost that you do not want to encounter around midnight.
