There's a home on hwy 9 in Cherokee estates that is haunted, summitted is a photo if you look at it closely you will see A shadow of what appears to be the size of a child walking out of a bedroom, many orbs, over 30 evp tapes of ghost talking. We hear a little girl humming and a dog barking. Dishes rattling, a rocking chair rocks when no one is in it. Children in our home claims they're seeing ghost, one they call Jock. We hear our names called out, when there's no one present. Homes on both sides have claimed odd things occurring in their homes as well. When you tell people about this they look at you like you're crazy. I did not believe any of this until I witness things in my home that cannot be explained. I have seen what appears to be something white and tall moving extremely fast down my hallway, it was not touching the ground. We see shadows all the time. I have evidence to back up that their is really something strange going on in our home.

We lived in Cherokee estates also. When we lived there we heard music playing at night and we felt people walk by. We never saw anything however. But if you continue down the dirt road past all the homes, there is an old Indian graveyard. If you go back there at night you can tell there are many spirits there.

My home in Cherokee estates on hwy 9 is haunted. I have pictures of black shadows walking out of a bedroom, a picture of a little ghost girl and a picture of a ghost dog. I have numerous voice tape recordings of ghost voices. We have heard voices with our own ears, a child humming, our names called out to us.There have been other homes in our area , with similar activity going on. Ghost have been seen coming down our hallway, dishes rattle, water gets turned on by itself.

live here will inform you. Folks who have never stayed for the night in this municipality will say to you it's lies, but with so many ghosts in Wetumpka you have a relatively good chance of catching a sight of one if you stay for the night in this place.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The phantom of a bound up woman has regularly been seen burrowing a crack in East Wetumpka Commercial Historic District in the early morning hours.
A woman carrying her head next to her arm has purportedly been perceived on a small number of instances studying the view from the apex of Bald Knob in the early morning hours.
The phantom of a gentleman with half his head missing can frequently be perceived walking from flat to flat in the early morning hours on a Wetumpka avenue. It has been said that this exact phantom is probably the undead phantom of a local resident who used to have a home here in Wetumpka.
