There was a bad spirit in my old apartment in the Paddock Club. From the second we moved in there was a very heavy feeling in the apartment. My roommate's daughter started waking up almost nightly with bad dreams, we would sit on the patio and sometimes see the figure of a man walk by the kitchen. One night I woke up to use the restroom and while washing my hands, I looked in the mirror to see the figure of a man standing beside me. Another time, I was trying to sleep and happened to looked in the hallway connecting my room to my bathroom and saw that same figure walking towards my bed. I quickly grabbed for my remote and flicked on the TV, and the figure shrunk back to the bathroom area. The most crazy thing about this was the fact that I had a small bell that hung off one of the strings on my fan that would randomly shake like someone had the string in their hand. At first it would really scare me, but I finally started to yell ''Stop It!'' when it would happen, and the ringing would immediately stop as if someone cupped their hands around

it. Some of my friends actually witnessed this happen. After the lease was up we moved to a larger apt. in the same complex and never had a problem like that again.

are odd things happening in this settlement during the night. Ghosts are so average around here; many people who live here don’t even lose sleep about it anymore. Folks who have never spent the night in this town will say to you it's all just superstition, but anybody who has spent the night in Brandon, Florida knows better.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The ghost of a young-looking woman having on a bloody prom dress is every now and then noticed down near Buckhorn Spring late in the night twinkling a lantern. Some of the folks who live here assert this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while journeying through Brandon in the past.
The ghost of an eight feet massive person has been noticed on many instances mid stream in Bell Creek reasoning. It has been alleged that this precise ghost is that of a local resident who had a house here in Brandon before the present.
