Night is undead time in this town. Several residents say these reports are untrue, but anyone who has stayed overnight in Carrabelle, Florida knows better. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a guy gripping a sword has once in a while been seen late in the night checking out Davis Bluff. One of the locals determinedly claims that this ghost is that of a resident who lived here in Carrabelle some decades ago. A lady with worms crawling out of her nostrils is every now and then made out trying on a shirt in a Carrabelle home. The ghost of a bound up lady has allegedly been made out on a few occasions creeping out of a drain       hole on a Carrabelle road on a dark night. A lady clutching her head underneath her arm can every now and then be perceived crawling out of Pickett Bay drenched in dirty water at midnight. The ghost of a youthful female wearing a bloody wedding gown has often been witnessed screaming people's names at Carrabelle Harbor very late at night.   Some people allege this ghost takes pleasure in frightening foolhardy folks who come searching for ghosts in Carrabelle. In any event, it undeniably is a menacing phantom that is better not interrupted. The spirit of an 8 feet tall huge man is often distinguished down beside the water at Kapes Bayou pointing at the eye witness.
