Casselberry, Florida Ghost Tales I use to live in the Harbourghs at Lake Howell right in front of the lake with my girl. We had been living there for a couple of months while going to school. To make the story short one friday night we stayed at home. I usually kept the blinds closed to prevent people from seeing inside the apartment. Out of nowhere I started hearing a strange noise coming from outside the apartment, from the balcony. This noise resembled as if somebody was throwing down little bolts against the metal frame of the screen in the balcony. I stood up thinking it could probably be some type of night animal since were in Fl., but I was so wrong. I lifted up my right hand to slowly move the blind and peek through. What I saw still lifts the hairs on the back of my head. The fist thing I saw was the silhouette of a pair of pants which appear to be floating and walking in the same position. I got scared. I stood there looking at the pants trying to figure out what I was seeing. My mind was going mad, as no logical explanation was coming up. I stared at the pants for       about 5 seconds because my girl was asking me what I was looking at. Then I decided to look up and see the rest of the image. It was the body of a white man. I dont know exactly who whe was but he looked like some kind of a soldier from the civil war. I stared at his face for about 2 seconds when suddely it seemed as if he had noticed my stare. He   looked back at me with the meanest face of hatred I had ever seen. His eyes were a yellowishwhite color that glowed and tranmited fear. Well thats my story, you decide if you wanna believe or not. I was there, I know what I saw and thats that. A decapitated guy may be observed frequently in the rear seat of a vehicle by the driver observing the ghost in his rear view mirror at the stroke of midnight. In any event, it's a menacing ghost that should be stayed away from. A woman with her head and right arm and left leg amputated has every now and then been made out by a woman hiking along a trail right next door to Casselberry. It has been argued that this particular spirit could be a celebrated past native of Casselberry.
