Chipley, Florida Ghost Tales I clearly saw a young girl sitting at a youth sized roll top desk.  She had on a taffita (sp)green dress with long sleeves and puffy towards the shoulders. Her hair was very curly dark brown.  She appeared to be writting something. She ignored me when I asked her who she was, then she was gone.  I have felt a spirit near my arm at times, because the hair stands up on my lower arm.. I was outside the other day taking pictures and attached is a picture of what might be her orb.  I was using a flash and there was a lot of light bouncing around, but who knows. There have been scores of encounters with persons from another zone. A number of local residents declare these descriptions are not true, but only some of the natives of Chipley   are really alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The scary phantom of a Gaul emerged having a seat at the kitchen counter in a Chipley residence. Other people nearby have had comparable happenings with an identical ghost. A man that shifted shape into a vampire was spotted by Alex Bay reading a newsletter. This phantom is extremely active in this area; there have been several other stories of this specific phantom. Locals who have spotted this ghost claim this ghost can be the spirit of a person who lived here who died here in Chipley a long time ago. A fluorescent human figure was perceived looking at folks in a Chipley building through a door crack. The bystander escaped after he spotted the ghost. Locals say that this ghost could be a distinguished past inhabitant of Chipley. The phantom of a pregnant lady has frequently been perceived weeping down near Falling Water late in the night. A decapitated guy is often distinguished hovering down a shady highway outside Chipley. One thing is for guaranteed, this is a hostile ghost that you would not want to run into in the early morning hours.
