I grew up on River Road in Dade City, Delmar Street. The house was extremely haunted. We also saw a small boy about 3 or 4 years old walking down the road in front of the house. This was witnessed by many different people through the years including myself. Always in the daytime. Here is a picture I took of my son in the 70's. Look behind him to the right. No other kids around this private property, also the boy seems to be see through near the legs. If you enlarge the picture, you can see it better.

In the daytime the people who live here in Dade City, Florida do their thing exactly identical to anywhere else, but this municipality is governed by tormented spirits of long ago. Night hour is living dead time around here. Not everyone has faith in the accounts the local residents tell, but creepy things certainly take place here in Dade City during the dark hours.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The phantom of a hobo is repeatedly observed strolling along a deserted highway next to Dade City. A lot of locals claim this spirit is almost certainly the undeparted spirit of a resident who used to reside here in Dade City.
The ghost of a young-looking woman drenched in blood has been noticed on a handful of occasions becoming visible in a washroom mirror. Local people who have distinguished this ghost assert this ghost is the undeparted soul of an old Dade City resident.
A gentleman with a big hole through his upper body can repeatedly be distinguished by Buttonwood

Lake gazing.
A lady's body with an animal's head can be noticed often on the shore of Lake Iola struggling to utter something. Locals here declare that this phantom is the phantom of a vacationer that was murdered while traveling through Dade City before the present.
A somewhat decayed human dead body has every now and then been witnessed

in Peterson Park before sunrise hauling a body across the ground. A person who lives here claims that this ghost likes startling unwise folks who are bold enough to upset the tranquility in Dade City. One thing is for sure, this is a horrible spirit that any reasonable person wouldn't want to run into.
The spirit of a farmer sporting a farmer hat is now and then noticed up on Hickory Hill thinking.
A young girl sporting a bloody prom dress has purportedly been made out on a small number of instances seated on a stool in a home right next door to Dade City.
A guy having a machete in his head can now and then be witnessed at Bayou Branch late at night throwing bricks into the water. One of the folks who live here confidently argues that this ghost can be the spirit of a resident who died here in Dade City a long time ago.
The ghost of a mailman has frequently been seen in the rear seat of a Honda by the driver spotting the phantom in her rear view mirror late at night.
