A resident asserts that this phantom is the undead soul of a long dead Ebro local. The ghost of a strong lumberjack clutching a large axe is frequently spotted dragging a cadaver across the ground in Point Washington Wildlife Management Area very late at night. Some of those who live here allege   this ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was murdered while passing through Ebro long ago. In any event, it sure is a scary spirit that any wise person would not want to come across.
