Custom Search Homeland, Florida Ghost Sightings Homeland PAGE 1   2     Back in the 80's, I was driving to Bartow from Fort Meade one Winter evening around 8:00. I decided to drive the back roads which took me down Old Homeland Road. As I approached the old cemetery, a fire erupted crossing old Homeland road, making me come to a complete stop. I was forced to turn around and go back a different way. As I attempted to do a 3 point turn, I noticed a translucent man walking in the cemetery. He vanished     after a few seconds of seeing him. I turned around and will never drive down Old Homeland Road again.
