The phantom of a lady with a bag fastened around her head is rumored to have been observed on a few instances by Snake Creek screaming.

A sizeable bloodcurdling phantom can every now and then be observed hauling a body across the ground in
  Indian Key Historic State Park in the early morning hours. Folks here who have noticed this ghost argue this ghost is probably the undeceased ghost of a local resident who used to have a house here in Islamorada.

The ghost of a young-looking man in a confederate uniform has repeatedly been seen pulling a body from the chilly water of Little Snake Creek before sunrise. Nonetheless, this is an unsympathetic phantom that any rational person wouldn't wish to encounter.

The spirit of a bum is frequently distinguished in the early morning hours before sunrise checking out Alligator Reef in detail. A man who lives here says that this phantom is the stressed spirit of a long forgotten Islamorada local person.
