Key West, Florida Ghost Tales | |

Our apartment is on the sight of the original Key West Cemetary, at the southernmost point, which was washed away during a hurricane in the 1930's. We find bones in the backyard, and hear noises in the attic at night, as if someone is up there. Lights go on and off and we have even witnessed magnets flying across the kitchen, from the fridge to the stove and stick on the stove.

Not everything in Key West, Florida is as it appears; undead spirits of the olden days in this municipality don't appear to want to pack up. The living dead are all over this city as the people who live here will declare. Several people who live here claim there are no spirits, but a journey to Key West, Florida will make anybody believe.

The creepy spirit of a Hun can frequently be perceived staring at an old man slumbering on a mattress in a mobile home in Key West. Well, it undoubtedly is a chilling spirit that you don't want to run

A man that transformed into a vampire can be spotted very frequently in a restaurant in the Key West neighborhood. People here declare that this ghost is the undeceased soul of an old Key West local.
The spirit of a pregnant woman has occasionally been perceived staring at the waves down by the waterfront

at Smathers Beach late in the night. A local resident declares that this spirit is that of a local person who had a house here in Key West a long time ago. In any event, this phantom undoubtedly is frightening; one that any normal person would not want to meet.
A headless gentleman is now and then noticed in Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park at the stroke of midnight facing the bystander.
The ghost of a surgeon with a bloody uniform is known to have been spotted on a few occasions staring at the water by Safe Harbor before dawn. Several of the residents assert this spirit enjoys startling unwise people who have the courage to upset the silence in Key West.
A female with her head and right arm and right leg severed can once in a while be witnessed trying on a hat in a Key West residence. It has been alleged that this particular ghost could be the spirit of a local resident who passed away here in Key West many years ago.
