Comment by Mbearty: I lived in the same area first on Georgia Avenue then on New York Avenue in the 1990s. I was playing in the yard when I found a stone that said RIP. My mom wasn't home one day, and my friends and I were all inside, and we saw some guy in black with boots went thump thump thump. The older boys even went to go confront this intruder. They found nothing no one.

Pofolks in Lynn Haven was a wooded area before the restaurant was built. The building itself is no more than 20 years old. It was not built in the Civil War era. The building was designed to look that way to give an antiquity look to the restaurant. I grew up in the area and watched that place being built. I am not even 30 yet. It may be haunted. Who knows? It's not because the ''house'' is old. That ghost wasn't a resident of the ''home'' since it was never a home before a restaurant.

Comment by Sarah: I'm 47 and your sadly mistaking there was a house there before they build Pofolks. It wasn't a wooded area. I've been in it years ago, it was like a thrift store, it was a two story yellow house, very old. You can go to drug store by save a lot they have a book on Lynn Havens history and the house is in that book.
