Several people have seen them including me, my daughter, and her husband. I saw a tall thin man standing at the end of my bed, covered my head and when I emerged it was gone. But, lights would go on and off, TV would come on and off, sounds of objects moving was heard when it could not have been anyone. My daughter's husband saw the tall thin man walk     through the bedroom window into the house. He also saw ghost soldiers in empty lot across the street get off their horses, tie them up and go into the old motel (which burned down decades ago). The old Lee house across the way has ghosts moving furniture around on the third floor when no one is home (according to the current owner). Melrose is indeed a ghostly place, but I am not afraid, they are friendly and curious. .
