Things go down around here that can't be explained by science. Some folks who live here assert there are no spirits, but everybody who dwells in Milton is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A headless man may be made out repeatedly trying to find a map in Blackwater Heritage Trail State Park late at night. A female with her left arm and left leg chopped off has now and then been spotted       looking at a lady snoozing on a mattress in a house in Milton. Regardless of what, it without a doubt is a chilling phantom that is rather not disrupted. A soldier's outfit staggering around with no body in it is every so often perceived trying on a shirt in a Milton apartment. No matter what folks state, this ghost undeniably is chilling; one   that you do not want to run into on a dark night. The phantom of an appallingly burned female has been distinguished on many occasions fluttering over Ward Basin around midnight. Several folks declare this spirit is the undeceased spirit of a long forgotten Milton resident. The ghost of a man with a pentagram carved into his leg may once in a while be made out verbalizing into the thin air in Persimmon Hollow late in the night. The spirit of a gravely mangled hunter hauling a dead coyote was spotted seeking somebody down next to the water at Bay Point. This is one of those ghosts that is spotted often in the vicinity. It has been claimed that this particular ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was killed while journeying through Milton some decades ago. One thing is for sure, this is a nasty ghost that any wise person wouldn't want to meet. A lady without a head materialized holding a human skull by Big Coldwater Creek. The ghost did not care that there was someone other there. According to the local residents, this ghost is that of a local person who lived here in Milton in the past.
