Whatever folks utter, this is an unsympathetic spirit that is better not upset. The ghost of an old female holding a shot gun may frequently be observed watching TV in a New Port Richey living room around midnight. The ghost of an elderly Indian chief may be distinguished very often destroying a shoe in Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park before sunrise. Many people who live here say this spirit is most likely the undead spirit of a local person who used to dwell here in New Port Richey. One thing is for guaranteed, it's a terrifying spirit that you do not want to run into at the stroke of midnight.
