I attended the battle in 2017. I am on an artillery crew and brought along my 29-yea- old son camping. I awoke to a faceless soldier peering in my tent. It seemed like it knew I was frightened. It then suddenly took on the appearance of my son as if to calm me. When I looked over and saw my son sleeping peaceful the face changed to a handsome dark haired blue eyed soldier. The apparition seem to be checking on me, making sure I was okay. It then poof
disappeared. It may have been a dream but seemed so real. I remember every line in his face. Haunts me to this day.|

I was a recent reanactor in the battle of Olustee. My family and I travel and are very close with fellow reanactors that do this as a hobby. We have visited many battlefields, and been here before. We ghost hunt as well and this year we went on to the battlefield a group of us.
We distintivly heard the sound of men shouting in the distance dark, as if shouting commands. We picked up what we believe to be the sounds of horses running on the field in one EVP. We caught several pics of orbs, and on going onto the battlefield over two nights to ghost hunt I can tell you, you can hear all sorts of sounds in the dark.
As a group though we all determined that you could hear shouting in the distance that all most sounds like screaming at a high pitch. I do believe the Olustee battlefield to be haunted. I will be back though next year.
