In about 1989, both my son and I witnessed an apparition in our home in Oviedo's Stillwater subdivision: during the night, I became mildly awake and, peering out of my partially closed eyes, I witnessed what appeared to be a black, hooded figure bending over me to take a closer look.

At that moment, my blood ran cold and I opened my eyes wide scaring the figure into vanishing into thin in my bedroom.
Needless to say,

I had a hard time falling back to sleep. It was about 4:00 a. M.
The next morning, my 11 year old son told his mother he had the same experience two bedrooms over.
Is this a coincidence or a fact? To this day, neither I nor my son can tell.
