I frequently visit relatives who live in the Walden Lakes Development in Plant City. The back patio area includes a screened-in pool. If I'm up at night, I'll usually leave one of the sliding doors cracked, so that the cats can go in and out. They like the patio area because they're able to hunt lizards and frogs that sneak in. One night I went out there to check on them, and I noticed they were both in one corner of the screened-in area staring off into the backyard. There's a stray cat that comes around every now and then, so I grabbed a flashlight and planned on just scaring it away.
I shined the light out the screen into the yard. I didn't see any cat, but after I scanned the area I noticed this large white mass or blob-type thing. It was about five feet away from the screen and about three or four feet in height. It had no discernible features, and it appeared to be solid. I stared at it for a minute or two; it didn't make a move or anything. I really couldn't explain it. It wasn't menacing or anything. It was just there. I collected the cats and put them inside. I came back out an hour or two later and shined the light in the same area. There was no sign of this thing. I haven't seen it since. I don't know what to make of it. I wouldn't call it a ghost per se, but it was definitely a very strange thing. Again it had no face or arms or anything, just a fairly solid white blob or mass. I felt no fear, but I'm curious if anyone else has seen anything like this.

In 2008 my wife and I looked at a house for sale in the Knights Griffin area. A realtor told my wife that the bank was anxious to sell it. When we pulled in the yard the first thing we noticed was all the grass and plants were dead. The house itself seemed to be of newer construction, possibly less than three years old. I started feeling uneasy the moment we pulled up, but my wife thought the house was beautiful. The front door was locked but not with the combination kind used by a realtor. There was a wooden privacy fence around the back yard, and the gate was slightly opened. My wife headed into the backyard despite my wishes to leave. I followed her and what we found in the back made me feel even more apprehensive.
There was an in ground pool full of black water, but also it was full of what seemed to be the contents of the house. Bags of clothes, dishes, furniture, and anything you could think of was in the pool. It looked as if it had been there for several months. The first thing I thought was ''why wouldn't the bank clean this up if they wanted to sell it so bad?'' My wife looked into the house through the glass doors that led to the back patio. I said to her again that we should leave, and then she pushed against the door, and they slid open. My wife got excited and said we should look inside. As we entered the house, a feeling came over me that I've never felt before or since.
