Abbeville, Georgia Ghost Tales I usually don't believe in ghosts. But, a year ago, when I was 11, I went into my room. There, there was a girl, about my age. If I remember, she had brown hair and green eyes. She kept mumbling, ''Of all the days for mother and father to leave me behind...OF ALL THE DAYS!!!!'' Then she looked at me and said, ''Did your mother and father leave you behind too?? Odd clothes, what, are you from Finland or something?'' I was frozen in fright. Then, I heard a gunshot. ''The British are coming. Gettysburg was always so different after the war. I must go to a safe spot.'' she said. She walked out to the       hall. I waited for about 5 seconds the looked in the hallway. They girl was gone. That night, about 6 hours after I saw her, I heard a murder scream from a girl. After that, I never saw her again. A female with a partly transparent body has purportedly been spotted on a small number of occasions staring at the water by Addison Dam on a dark night. The ghost of a man dressed in a police force uniform may from time to time be noticed examining Boat Ramp Statham Shoals in detail late at night. Whatever people state, it's without a doubt a creepy ghost that you do not want to run into late at night.
