It's not a good idea to be in any Park that time of the evening. You may have came upon a park full of wairth activity and it should not be taken lightly. Any area of such a nature as a park has been know to attract certain forms of phantasmagoria and shape shifting evil.
In certain cases I think the ground it's self may be containing evil because of long ago past inocidents that have occurred in a particular location. Be wise and never go back to the park that late of an evening because many terrible things could happen to you.

Me and my friend were walking to the neighborhood Park at around 10:30 at night. As we were walking we heard a voice screaming it was so loud we thought it was right next to our ears but when we turned around there was no one there.
So we decided to just keep walking on our way and then we heard another scream but this time they said something to us. This time they said'' go away from here you don't belong here! Go away! '' even though me and my friend were scared out of our minds we decided to keep going because yet again there was nothing or no one there.
As we got closer to the park we heard a chainsaw being started. We just thought someone was just doing some late night tree cutting or something. We had gotten on the sawings when all of a sudden we both fall to the ground.
