Atlanta, Georgia Ghost Tales Reported sightings of ghosts & orbs in Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, Ga. People who pass along the outside wall say they can hear whispers and crying. Submitted by April       Categories: cemetery, orbs, lights, sounds There is a conveniece store on the west side of Atlanta, Georgia that is haunted by the spirit of a homeless young man who was the victim of a drive by shooting. He was killed for walking on the side of the highway minding his own business. I don't like stopping at that conveniece store because the air is filled with sadness and loneliness. A lady told me she hears violin music whenever she stops there for gas. Some truckers have seen the spirit several times, but do not like talking about it. Submitted by Hope       Categories: man, gas_station, store The reason I came to this sight is because the only time I ever saw a ghost was in the back seat of my car driving north on I-75 right out side of Atlanta. I looked in my rear view mirror       and there was an elderly lady with her hair done up in a bun wearing old timey clothes and a cameo around her neck smiling at me. I looked several times and she was still there. I pulled over to the side of the road and woke my husband but by the time he woke up she was gone. This encounter will haunt me to the day I die. A partly translucent gentleman clothed as the skipper of a boat is regularly observed resting on a sofa in a building in Atlanta. People who have made out this spirit allege this spirit is the tormented soul of a long gone Atlanta local resident. A big frightening spirit may regularly be noticed looking for an object beside a streetlight in Atlanta. People assert that this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while passing through Atlanta before the present.
