Brunswick, Georgia Ghost Tales I have lived here for 2 years and love the history of Brunswick. I was researching the history of my house on George St. and found the obituary of the man who built my house. Judge D.W.Krauss and I decided to look at his gravesite. I found it at Oak Hill (I think that's the name of the cemetery). I love historic cemetaries and decided to walk around and look at the old and beautiful carvings on the tomb stones. I finally felt like I was being watched and knowing the neighborhood I looked around but instead of seeing a possible mugger - I saw a badly tattered apparition of a little girl. She was in very bad condition - and I got the distinct impression she was confused and did not know where she was or how she got there. I have not been back - her deep sense of being lost really got to me.  I have seen more than one ghost in my life but this one really got to me. The ghost of a shackled up lady has purportedly been perceived on several instances contemplating at the water at Belle Point. According to what the people who live here assert, this ghost enjoys terrifying foolish folks who are brave enough to interrupt the tranquility in Brunswick. A woman clutching her head by her arm can frequently be noticed in a trailer in Brunswick. The ghost of a young-looking lady wearing a blood-covered prom dress can be seen time and again late at night marveling at Gascoigne Bluff.
