Calhoun, Georgia Ghost Tales Near my house there is an old, big abandoned house that no one has lived in for years, and about 5 years ago, when I was about 12, me and my family went to see it one day just to look. My mom and stepdad wanted to go in, but I was scared of it just by looking at it. So I stayed outside. I was waiting for them in the front yard while my brother was around the back, and when I looked up at the 2nd floor windows I saw a girl about the age of 10 standing in the middle top window with shoulder length hair, staring down at me. I freaked out and looked away, but when I looked back up she was gone. At first I thought it was just a girl that lives there, but we later found out that no one was living there, or had been living there for at least a few months. I had never really found out anything else about it. Then my mom said she and my stepdad felt really weird and creeped out while they were at the top floor. No one really believed me when I told them, but just recently my mom's best friend since childhood came up to visit, and she is a paranormal       investigator, and I told her about the girl. So we went back to the house to see if she would get any feelings of spirits there. She did. And she said it was definitely a child. Then, to our surprise the owners of the house came to see why we were on the property, since there was a NO TRESPASSING sign, and we asked when the last time someone lived   there and if there was a little girl. They said yes to both. They also said that the girl was kidnapped and stabbed to death then dropped off on one of the mountains somewhere near Calhoun. CRAZY STUFF!!! A woman with her left arm and right leg amputated has supposedly been witnessed on numerous instances in a Calhoun area auto part store, staggering the aisles. According to what the residents argue, this ghost is that of a local resident who had a house here in Calhoun a long time ago.
