Chickamauga, Georgia Ghost Tales | |
|
My father took me to the Wilder Tower on Halloween night to try and scare me. He told me the tale of Green eyes and I was thinking, ''Yeah, yeah, whatever.'' Then we stopped in front of the tower and my father told me he had to go pee, so he got out of the car and went in the woods. I noticed he was gone for like fifteen minutes so I got out of the car to try and find him. I looked everywhere when I heard a whisper say, ''I.'' I turned around and saw two large green eyes staring at me and screamed and my father grabbed me from behind and took me back to the car. I told him what I saw and he said, ''I told you it was true, do you believe me now?'' I still have nightmares about that night. Don't be stupid like I was. Submitted by Moe Category: tower

You can hear cannons and gun shots and hear the sounds of horses galloping and the terrible moans on snodd grass hill where the little house is it was used to for only god knows what. Then there is wilder tower a creature is said to nest there at night under the stairs. You can always ride thru there but don't stop. The park is closed at dusk and the rangers are always watching, and so are the ghost and they may follow you if they get the chance to get in the car.
