Crawford, Georgia Ghost Tales


On the face of it Crawford, Georgia seems like a standard city, but when the darkness of night commences; things get bloodcurdling. Lots of ghost sightings have been disclosed by the folks who live here. A number of folks who live here assert there are no ghosts, but menacing things certainly take place here in Crawford during the night.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of a civil war soldier is regularly spotted staring at the water by Beaver Dam Lake Dam after midnight.

The ghost of a gravely burned lady has supposedly been observed on many occasions at Goulding Creek in the early morning hours tossing chunks of concrete into the current. Any which way, it certainly is a scary ghost that any commonsensical person wouldn't wish to bump into.

The ghost of a guy with a word cut into his forehead can be spotted time and again in Lexington Historic District late at night looking. In any event, this is an unlikable ghost that you shouldn't go trying to find.

The
 
    ghost of an awfully mangled huntsman dragging a dead wolf has now and then been made out attempting to exclaim something by the shore at Thompson Lake.

The ghost of a young-looking female with a cord around her neck has allegedly been distinguished on many occasions flashing a lantern beside a secluded highway near Crawford at night. No matter what, it's a creepy ghost that should be stayed away from.
