No matter what, this is an unlikable ghost that any reasonable person wouldn't want to come across. The ghost of a grower sporting a worn straw hat is occasionally noticed in Talking Rock Wildlife Management Area at night going bananas. A young girl wearing a blood-splattered dress has been said to have been spotted on one or two instances flinging pebbles at Dews Lake Dam around midnight. A female with a blue-green face can now and then be noticed mounding pebbles down beside the waterfront at Dews Lake. Several of the people who live here say this phantom is the phantom of a traveler that was killed while passing through Fairmount many years ago. One thing's for sure, it's a chilling ghost that you shouldn't go seeking. The ghost of a delivery man was observed watching movies in a Fairmount living room late at night. The spirit spoke of revenging a murder. Any which way, it is indisputably a menacing ghost that should be stayed away from. A guy's body with the head of a raccoon came into sight on a Fairmount road late in the night. The witness got scared and fled. If you talk to the local residents, this ghost is that of a local resident who dwelled here in Fairmount in the past.
