Fort Benning, Georgia Ghost Tales | |

I lived here for about a year and had some similiar storys as on here, seeing movement, hearing some one walking down the hall when no one is there. If anyone else is having any of these experience please email me at deffdog1@yahoo.com . I am looking into finding out if any of what I am seeing and others have the same in common and to find out were the most haunted place are on Ft Benning, Thanks.

I am looking for the woman Cami who posted a story about bout on heights. I live there now and have experienced several ghost sightings in my house. Not only that was walking back to the front door and I went to open the door. Then all of a sudden a hand came out and slammed the door shut. I ran outside. On another occasion sometimes late at night I run to the PX and when I get home I see a man standing in my window. If someone else has experienced similar or anything unusual please email me. We lived in Custer Terrace. One night my little boy jumped into bed with me and I told him, ''You are too old to be sleeping with me, I have PT in the morning and you have to quit waking me up!'' So, I picked up my little boy and carried him back to his room. When I walked in, the room was ice cold and I felt the most evil presence.

I had never felt that way before but when it is present, you know it is just evil! We ran back to my room and jump in the bed! I couldn't see it but I could feel it all around me! My little boy was shaking and too scared to cry! I didn't know what to do so I just prayed out loud! My little boy stated to scream ''shut up mommy you're making it worse, shut up!!'' he had NEVER spoken like that to me before! It felt as though it was going right through me and I was terrified! I could literally feel the separation between my spirit and my body! I started cussing at it and it went away. I could hear it in the rafters like wood moving! I thought I might have imagined the whole thing but talking to the neighbor, she said she had a similar experience! I went to visit the chaplain and he place holy water over every entrance and window. We didn't have anymore problems. Four years later we moved to another place on Arrowhead Rd. Besides the constant bad dreams I had whenever my husband wasn't home and the eerie sensations of being watched the big one

came when we were all home. We had been bbqing in the backyard. I was in the kitchen when my daughter came running in saying ''Mommy there is a mean man bothering me.'' I went outside to check it out and there was no one there. She came in again and so she went to play in her room. My husband joined me in the kitchen, my dogs ears stood up and we heard the back screen door knob turn, the door opened and slammed shut! My husband took off outside trying to find what just went out or came in!! We were totally freaked! I later asked my daughter what did this mean man look like? She responded, ''he had boots and a funny hat''.
