While walking myself an E-6 and the remaining EM's all witnessed an apparition kneeling in one of the 3 old cemeteries along the route we had taken. None of us were using white light but the apparition appeared to glow, once we drew closer to him he stood looked at us as if attempting to determine if we were a threat, turned his back on us and vanished.

I have yet to see for myself but my husband has told me a couple different stories of a ghost soldier on Ft. Stewart that is known to kind of protect one of the cemeteries there. There was one story he told me where him an two of his friends went there late at night an they can see a soldier dressed in old gear from the looks of it from the Civil War walking along the graves, and one of his friends had leaned up against a Tombstone an the soldier had started walking straight towards him pretty quickly.
Then his other friend had kneeled down to look at a Tombstone and all of a sudden the soldier was right next to him kneeling down just staring at him.|
