Fort Valley, Georgia Ghost Tales


By the looks of it Fort Valley, Georgia appears like your customary municipality, but this place has an adequate share of spirits. The undeparted are in this municipality as the locals will disclose. Folks who have never spent the night in this municipality will laugh and say it's all just superstition, but anyone who has spent the night in Fort Valley, Georgia knows better.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of a youthful woman with a line around her neck is every now and then noticed picking flowers in the side yard of a building in Fort Valley. Regardless of what people exclaim, it's without a doubt a creepy ghost that you wouldn't wish to run into at midnight.

A guy without a head is known to have been observed on a handful of occasions on the shore of Lake Lasseter gazing. One thing is for certain, this ghost sure is menacing; one that any rational person wouldn't wish to come across.

The ghost of an elderly prospector with a big beard and a
 
    wooden right leg may from time to time be seen dragging a cadaver from the cold water of Baptist Creek in the early morning hours. Anyway, this is an unlikable ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate.

The phantom of an old lady carrying a gun was witnessed at Cleveland Dam at night enjoying the view. The spirit did not seem to be worried
  by the witnesses.

The ghost of a waitress came into sight pushing orbs about in East Main Street Residential Historic District in the early morning hours before sunrise. When the ghost was spotted it vanished into the thin air. A local person says that this ghost could be the soul of a local person who died here in Fort Valley some decades ago.

The ghost of an elderly cleaning lady was spotted by a lady fishing by a lake close to Fort Valley. Alarmed by the bystanders the ghost faded away into the night. One of the local residents definitely asserts that this ghost is possibly the undeceased ghost of a resident who used to dwell here in Fort Valley. In any event, it's a menacing phantom that should be steered clear of.

A dark snake that transformed into a female emerged sitting in an armchair in a building in Fort Valley. When seen the ghost moved toward the witness who then escaped.

The spirit of a young-looking female outfitted as a maid was noticed in Ocmulgee National Monument right by the park headquarters going out
of control. This individual ghost has been spotted repeatedly in this location. Some of the locals declare this spirit is the undeceased soul of a long dead Fort Valley local resident. No matter what, it sure is a creepy ghost that is preferably not interrupted.
