Griffin, Georgia Ghost Tales

Never heared of any of the sighting listed above but these two I know to be true from my own experence . A older home setting on the conner of 13th and soloman st . is haunted by a little girl ,I have seen her in an upstairs window on several occasions . She is dressed circa 1930s with dark hair and is always in a window facing the soloman st. side of the house .The house was once a antic shop and after seeing the girl in the window one night I went back while it was open to check it out . The room turned out to be a rest room and was the coldest room in the house at lest 10 degrees colder then
the rest of the house. The second location that I know about is the old police station down town . While working there one night as a radio dispather I heared someone walking around upstairs and the sound
of some one setting in a chair and rolling it around after listing to this for several hours and asumming that it was an investigater working late . The road superviser finaly came in . I ask him who was upstairs he replied no one. After this he and I went upstairs to look around no one was their . He reminded me of a desk sergent by the name of Homer who had died several years earlier while on duty of a heart attack and said it could have been him . Other people have heared him walking up and down the stairs and the sound of the chair rolling around on the floor .

Griffin
high school is hiding something while at an overnight activity in Griffin high me and a couple of friends took a picture of the front lobby and we saw a light that was away from the light of the main light and when we zoomed in we saw a white figure that was a skull which was  looking right at us and when we were by the gate all three of us could feel a presence and it was really cold  in that one spot but the funny thing was that the air condisioning wasnt on the heat was. Also we took a recording asking several questions and when we amplified it on the computer we were actually geting answeres. and we also went down the 400  hall and we saw a shadow and heard tapping on lockers and then we looked in a room and saw a blood spot on the floor that wasnt there erlier in the day. I WILL FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED AT GRIFFIN HIGH.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of an elderly prospector with a large beard and a wooden leg emerged hovering in the air like a cloud in Griffin. The witness got freaked out and fled.

The ghost of a waitress was seen staring in Griffin Commerical Historic District late in the night. The phantom did not appear to be anxious by the observers. Locals assert that this ghost gets pleasure from terrifying foolish people who come searching for ghosts in Griffin. No matter what, it's a menacing spirit that any reasonable person wouldn't wish to come across.

The ghost of an aged Indian chief has repeatedly been made out at Central Lake Dam very late at night looking at the landscape. No matter what people state, it is in all certainty a scary ghost that should be left alone.
