I and my husband live in Hazlehurst. We use to live on Tommy Harrell Rd. This is just off the Altamaha Rd. We often would hear something shuffling it's feet late at night in our home. On one other occasion when we had friends over, something sat down on the sofa making an indention right between me and my best friend, then on another night, I was up late cooking for a family get together and the TV channels started flipping by themselves.
We also would notice several times as we were driving home an eerie fog only in one part of the road. I think the scariest was the night when I had gotten up in the middle of the night to get a drink of water and turned around and saw a man propped up against by bedroom door.

When I screamed running for my husband the man disappeared. These things went on the whole time we lived there and I have witnesses to back it up. P. S. If you want another really haunted place in Hazlehurst you need to go visit Spells Mansion.
