My husband and I were driving down a country road looking for an old family cemetery in the area when we saw a Young woman walking down the road in an old fashioned dress and asked her for directions. The woman said that she had lived there for Only a short time---she had Only lived there for 40 years. (my husband     and I just looked at each other confused--from her response). She said that she knew another woman that might know of this cemetery---because she had lived there for 66 years. She directed us where to find her. As we pulled up to the House the woman and her husband came to meet us--i think they were mennonites. They spoke of the ''living family'' who owned the family cemetery-and said that the family clan had always stayed together. She asked me why I wasn't ''with the family. '' I told her that my family had moved away in 1889 and that we lost touch   (continued on the next page...)
