Knoxville, Georgia Ghost Tales


You might feel that Knoxville, Georgia is exactly identical to any other settlement in the States, but the ghost descriptions passed on by the folks who live here are enough to make anyone think twice about stopping by in this town. Spirits are so regular in this place; loads of folks who live here don’t even think about it anymore. Some folks who live here argue there are no ghosts, but the undeceased spirits of Knoxville are all too real.

The ghost of a youthful Indian combatant is sometimes perceived drifting down Avery Creek late in the night. One of the locals strongly argues that this ghost can be the soul of a local person who died here in Knoxville some time ago.

The ghost of a jet pilot has been said to have been spotted on a small number of instances gazing at the water by Hortman Lake Dam at the stroke of midnight. Anyway, this is an unfriendly spirit that is better not disrupted.

    can every now and then be witnessed concealing a corpse by a big boulder in Benjamin Hawkins Monument in the early morning hours.

A man that transformed into a vampire was observed creeping out of Magnolia Swamp covered in mud at night. The ghost waved to the observer. Some of the people here allege this ghost is probably the undead ghost of
  a person who used to have a house here in Knoxville.

The spirit of a pregnant woman became visible standing along a gloomy road next to Knoxville. The ghost was swallowed by the night after being spotted.
